Alien: Earth – Final Trailer Unleashes the Horror at Home
FX has released the final trailer for Alien: Earth, the highly anticipated sci-fi horror series that brings the legendary Xenomorph threat directly to Earth. Set in the year 2120, just two years before the events of Ridley Scott’s original Alien, this series serves as a terrifying prequel—and a bold reimagining of the franchise's origins.
The trailer opens with chaos. A deep-space research vessel, the USCSS Maginot, crashes back to Earth, and with it comes something no one expected—something ancient, relentless, and unstoppable. For the first time in the franchise’s history, the iconic alien threat has reached our planet.
At the center of the story is Wendy, played by Sydney Chandler, a revolutionary hybrid—the first human mind ever uploaded into a synthetic body. As corporations tighten their grip on advanced AI technology, Wendy becomes a target, both hunted and haunted by what she is and what she’s becoming. Alongside her is a cast of rebels, soldiers, and survivors who quickly realize they are part of a larger, more sinister design.
The trailer’s tone is dark, suffocating, and eerily beautiful. Neon-lit corridors, crumbling cities, and quiet moments of existential dread paint a picture of a world teetering on the edge. As the Xenomorphs begin their spread, the lines between man, machine, and monster blur in terrifying ways.
Created by Noah Hawley, with Ridley Scott executive producing, Alien: Earth promises not just visceral scares, but deeper questions about identity, control, and evolution. It’s not just about survival anymore—it’s about what makes us human in a world where humanity may no longer be enough.
