Thunderbolts

Thunderbolts is Marvel Studios’ bold step into darker territory—a story about redemption, manipulation, and second chances, told through the eyes of characters who’ve all been on the wrong side of history. This isn’t the Avengers. This is the government’s answer to chaos: a team of anti-heroes, mercenaries, and former enemies sent to do the dirty work no one else will touch.

Set after the events of Black Widow, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, and Hawkeye, Thunderbolts brings together a dangerous and unpredictable lineup: Yelena Belova, Bucky Barnes (the Winter Soldier), US Agent, Taskmaster, Ghost, and Red Guardian—led by Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, the enigmatic puppeteer building her own power base within the shadows.

Each member has blood on their hands. Each has something to prove—or something to hide.

But when this mismatched team is sent on a mission that spirals into a global threat, loyalty fractures, secrets surface, and the question becomes: can broken people save a broken world? Or will they just make it worse?

Thunderbolts promises gritty action, heavy moral stakes, and the kind of internal conflict that made stories like The Suicide Squad and The Winter Soldier so compelling. With a tone more grounded and emotionally raw than most Marvel entries, it explores what happens when redemption isn’t just a word—it’s a battlefield.

Because sometimes, the people you send to fix the mess…
Are the ones who made it in the first place.
